If you’re ready to take the plunge and introduce unconditional love into your life, The Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce 29th Leadership Class has just the ticket. The Mutt and Meow Fest Fundraiser and Adopt-a-thon brings pets and new owners together, at 150 E Lohman Avenue, on Saturday, May 14, 2022, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Already have pets? Bring them along! All leashed, non-aggressive pets are welcome. There will be plenty of pet-friendly activities, including a Mutt Strut, and a pet photo booth. Vendors and food trucks will be on hand to feed you and your friends, while live entertainment will keep the momentum going. Even better, 100% of the proceeds benefit the Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley (ASCMV).
But, maybe monetary donations are not your thing. Maybe you’d rather bring items to help the ASCMV tend to the many boarders in their care. Your desire can be accommodated! Kennels and crates, dog sweaters, blankets, collars, leashes and towel donations are accepted onsite. Just make sure they’re clean and in good shape. Only the best for our furry friends, just the way it should be.
Of course, getting some of the many homeless pets a place to call their own is the main objective. Adoption opportunities will be available, so that you can finally fill your life with all the fulfillment and satisfaction that only a cherished friend can bring.
