Living in Beautiful Sonoma Ranch -
The Sonoma Ranch Golf Course with homes in the background.

The popularity of the Sonoma Ranch neighborhood on the east side of Las Cruces is thanks in part to spectacular views of the city, sunsets, and mountains as well as proximity to good schools, stores, gyms, and medical services. Of course, the quality and diversity of housing options make this area attractive, too.

In general, the Sonoma Ranch area lies on both sides of Sonoma Ranch Boulevard, east of Roadrunner Boulevard and west of the Organ Mountains, and south of Highway 70. There are several Sonoma Ranch developments, each with its own HOA, as well as neighboring developments outside the boundaries.

Housing in Sonoma Ranch

Not long ago this area was desert land, but over the last two decades, growth has exploded. In Sonoma Ranch, you can find large custom homes, gated 55+ communities, attractive neighborhoods, duplexes, condos, and even apartment communities.
