Established in 2015, the Las Cruces Beer Festival is quickly becoming a staple in the die-hard downtown festival circuit. After all, when it’s 100-plus degrees outside, what better way to combat the heat than with an ice-cold brew? Featuring 240 “diverse beer selections,” available for sampling, and purchase, from some of the biggest names in brewing — and few you’ve never heard of – this is every beer lover’s dream fiesta. The Las Cruces Beer Festival cools down the Plaza de Las Cruces, Saturday, August 13, 2022, 5 – 11 p.m.
Some of the many brewmasters providing samples and purchases include Blue Moon, Leinenkugel, Strongbow, Angry Orchard, Sam Adams, Bridgeport, Santa Fe, Lagunitas, Imperial, Indio, New Castle, De La Vegas, Monks Ale, Pyramid, Sierra Nevada, Sierra Blanca, Dundee, Shiner Bock, Rio Grande, Shock Top, Tractor, and so many more!
Of course, beer isn’t the only item on tap during this so-hot-it’s-cool summer fete. Along with the samples and brews, the event features live DJs Aaron Scene & Alpha Prime, your favorite food trucks, and local bands playing live on the Plaza de Las Cruces stage. Over 40 local and traveling vendor booths with a wide variety of swag, arts & crafts, potions & oils, and more will be on hand, as well.
Bring your appetite and enjoy a wide range of dinners, snacks, desserts, and cold drinks. Purchase ice cold water at the entry gate and support Love Las Cruces, a non-profit giving back to our community gardens and food pantries, while also doing graffiti clean-up and art installations in public spaces.
Advance tickets are $25 and include all access entry to entertainment, one branded sampling cup, 10 1-ounce samples of any beer, and unlimited photos. Please note that tickets go up to $30 at the gate. Advance VIP tickets are $50 and include everything above, plus one food plate from your favorite food vendor, a fast pass through all food lines, a festival t-shirt, VIP seating, and a VIP bar. These tickets go up to $60 the day of the festival. Designated drivers and minors aged 13 and up are $20 at the gate. Minors 12 and under are free with a legal guardian. Military ID will get you $5 off regular ticket prices.
A full slate of beer and entertainment, designed to chase away those summer blues, the Las Cruces Beer Festival is a great way to spend a sultry Saturday evening downtown.
