easter buddy
Materials:
- Wonderful Halos mandarins
- Easter Buddy template (available to download here)
- Yellow card stock
- Orange card stock
- Googly eyes
- Glue
- While felt
- Double-sided tape
- Scissors
- Pencil
Instructions:
- Trace the Easter Buddy template on the yellow card stock and cut out the shape.
- Cut two small triangles in half vertically, and glue onto the yellow card stock to form an elevated diamond shape — a beak for the buddy’s face.
- Cut out a small triangle from the yellow card stock, fold it in half, and glue it onto the head to make a tuft of feathers.
- Glue on the googly eyes and wait about 2 minutes for the glue to dry. Then, cut a circle out of the white felt and glue on to the buddy’s belly.
- Fold the legs up, place the mandarin on top of the legs, and tape the wings around the Halos mandarin.
- Cut two triangles out of yellow card stock, fold them in half, and glue them onto the back of the buddy to make a cute little tail.

- Pompoms (small and large)
- White felt
- Pink felt
- Rubber bands
- Pink ribbon (or any color)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Googly eyes
Instructions:
- Cut off a corner of the white felt about a third of the way in. Fold the felt over about 1 inch from the side that was cut and keep folding over 1 inch at a time until the end.
- Place the Halos mandarin in the middle of the felt and wrap the ends around it, securing with a rubber band at the top to make the ears.
- Tie the ribbon in a bow around the ears, hiding the rubber band, and cut out two long oval pieces of pink felt to tuck inside the ears.
- Make the bunny’s face by gluing on googly eyes, a small pompom for the nose, a large pompom for the tail, and voilà!
