Thomas Branigan Memorial Library invites you to hear noted New Mexico writer Michael McGarrity talk about his writing on Zoom. Michael McGarrity is a celebrated New Mexico author, and former psychotherapist and law enforcement officer. McGarrity’s crime novels take place in present-day New Mexico, starring law enforcement officer Kevin Kerney as the protagonist and began with Tularosa (1996).
McGarrity will discuss his new book, Head Wounds, which is the exciting climax to the Kevin Kearney series. In Head Wounds, Clayton Istee, son of retired police chief Kevin Kerney, goes up against an elusive Mexican hitman in a mesmerizing story of murder, revenge, and redemption.
