The September 2021 exhibition at the Doña Ana Arts & Cultural Center features the Artists of Picacho Hills. The group was founded in 2008 by artists living in the Picacho Hills Community with a shared interest in promoting the arts. The artisans in the group work in many different mediums to include painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, woodworking, textile, quilting, and multimedia. Artists contributing to the show include Barbara Bush, Paul Maxwell, Marie Siegrist, Jeffie Mackey, Rosemary McKeown, Jan Minow, Keren Conley, Becki Thomas, Jan Severson, Susan Pauley, Abby Osborne and Sharon Cunningham, among others. The exhibition will run through the entire month of September 2021.
The Doña Ana Arts & Cultural Center and DAAC administrative offices are located at 250 W. Amador, Las Cruces, NM, and open Monday through Fridays 9-5 and on the second Saturday of every month 12-5. For more information, visit the website, or call the DAAC office at 575-523-6403.
