It’s that time of year again, and this year has been especially tough for the families at the A. Fielder Memorial Safe Haven Weed & Seed Program. Throughout the years this program has provided a safe environment for underprivileged children here in the Mesquite Historic District. This year in efforts to help struggling parents even more during the Covid 19 pandemic, the center also handed out dinners, helped and tutored students with online learning, and offered emotional support during these difficult times. La Nueva Casita Cafe along with Las Esperanzas Inc. will be having a drive thru red enchilada fundraiser in which 100% OF THE TICKET SALES will go directly to buying shoes, jackets, and clothing for these children this Winter. Tickets are $7.00 per person and can be purchased in advance at La Nueva Casita Cafe or you can purchase your plate at the event. Thank you for helping us support the precious children our community. God bless!
