The Doña Ana Arts Council is set to host the latest exhibit by Las Cruces photographer Wayne Suggs, titled Visions of the Southwest. Wayne has spent most of his life exploring and capturing majestic landscapes and night skies through his photography. In addition to winning awards and having his work featured on magazine covers and in a wide array of publications, his photographs have been included in the top 101 International Landscape Photographers of the Year for both 2019 and 2020.
Wayne’s book The Color of Dreams is now available in bookstores, featuring 100 high-definition color images, accompanied with a narrative of how and why the artist captured such stunningly in-the-moment shots at specific locations and times. Visions of the Southwest runs June 1 – 29 in the Doña Ana Arts & Cultural Center, located at 250 W. Amador. The center is open during business hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays.
