Every year, the City of Las Cruces and New Mexico State University (NMSU) team up to host the City’s free annual 4th of July Celebration at the Pat and Lou Sisbarro Community Park,on the NMSU campus. It always kicks off with a concert, featuring a nationally recognized act, followed by a spectacular fireworks display. The Annual 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks Display takes place Thursday, July 4, 2024, starting at 6 p.m.
Las Crucens get a head start on the festivities the night before, celebrating our nation’s birth with a 5k and 1 mile Fun Run, followed by the extremely popular Electric Light Parade. This spirited event sets the stage for a truly patriotic weekend that sees huge turnouts and reaps rewards for the City economically, despite the fact that all events are free.
Platinum selling Country artist Randy Houser will headline this year’s free concert. Opening acts for this year’s Fourth of July 4 concert will be Las Cruces country singers Chris Baker and Dzaki Sukarno.
The Pat and Lou Sisbarro Community Park on the NMSU campus provides easy access, traffic flow, expanded parking, and can accommodate the large audience that attends this free, family-friendly, community event.
