ACT Announces Summer Theater Camp | LasCruces.com

A Children’s Theatre of the Mesilla Valley (ACT) announced its Summer Theater Camp for kids grades K through 12. Running Mondays thru Fridays, June 1-26, the camp is broken down into two different plays: “School House Rock Jr.,” by Musical Theatre International, and “Selfie,” by Bradley Hayward. Both will be directed by ACT staff members Jazmin Buchman and Luis Castro. Workshops are also offered.

Rehearsal times will be 9 to 11 a.m. for “School House Rock Jr.” and 1:30 to 3 p.m. for “Selfie.” Lunch and theater workshops will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Most equipment and supplies will be provided by ACT. All classes will be taught by ACT directors, staff and volunteers. All rehearsals, workshops and recordings will be at The ACT Studio! 1206 E. Idaho.
